Johnson City, TN – Johnson City Futbol Club (JCFC), the premier soccer organization in Northeast
Tennessee, is excited to announce upcoming player evaluations for the 2024/2025 season. With a
commitment to excellence in skill development, professional coaching and competitive play, JCFC invites
young athletes to join their elite soccer program.

Founded in 2015, JCFC is led by a team of dedicated individuals who live, coach and play within the
Appalachian Highlands, ensuring a deep connection to the local soccer community. The club's teams
practice at several local fields including Winged Deer and Civitan Park in Johnson City, providing
convenient access for players and families.

ensures that our players receive the highest quality coaching," says Dr. Beth Jackson, President of the

A key strength of JCFC lies in its coaching staff, all of whom are professionally trained and licensed by
the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) or United Soccer Coaches (USC), a key value of the club. "Our
coaching staff is dedicated to the development of each player, both on and off the field," says Dan
Almond, DPT, Director of Coaching at JCFC. "With a focus on individualized instruction and a
comprehensive player development program, we are proud to offer the highest quality coaching in
Northeast Tennessee and to offer more coaches with elite-level licenses than any other club in the
region.”

Players who join JCFC can expect not only top-notch coaching but also the opportunity to participate in
the most competitive soccer in Northeast Tennessee. Participating in club soccer provides players with
invaluable opportunities for growth both as athletes and individuals. Through traveling to compete in games and tournaments throughout the Southeastern US, players gain exposure to diverse competition,
challenging themselves to elevate their skills and strategic understanding of the game. Additionally,
travel soccer fosters teamwork, resilience and a sense of camaraderie as players bond over shared
experiences on and off the field.

To kick off the recruitment process, JCFC will be hosting player evaluations on two dates:

Junior Evaluations:
• Who: Juniors - Boys & Girls born 2017-2013
• When: Wednesday, May 15
• Time: Check-in starts at 5:30 PM, Evaluations from 6-6:50 PM
• Make-ups for Juniors are on Wednesday, May 29. Check-in starts at 5:30 PM. Evaluations from
6-6:50 PM.

Senior Evaluations
• Who: Seniors - Boys & Girls born 2012-2006
• Date: Wednesday, May 29
• Time: Check-in starts at 6:30 PM, Evaluations from 7-7:50 PM
• Make-ups are as needed.

All evaluations will take place at the ETSU Campus Recreation Fields at 1244 Jack Vest Drive in Johnson
City. Players should come prepared with a ball, shin guards and cleats.
